Via Jordan Mendoza from Today in the USEA has struck a deal with the NFL Players Association to include current NFL players in the game.
Current NFL players, such as former Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will be part of the ultimate team mode included in the new game. Other former college players who are now retired from football are also included.
Ultimate Team has been a staple of the Madden NFL franchise for several years now. It allows users to create and upgrade teams featuring current and former NFL players, slowly turning your team into a behemoth… unless the next iteration of the game comes out and you have to start over with a 59-rated team.
The college version of the ultimate team could be even more robust, as it adds current college players to the mix, along with former college players now playing in the NFL and retired NFL players.
