Quest Step ‘Inbound from Ultra Space Timed Research’ in Pokémon Go

The Inbound from Ultra Space Timed Research quest is available to all Pokémon Go players and you have until Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM (local time).

We highly recommend taking the time to complete this research quest as well, as it gives you the chance to catch all of the Ultra Beasts, aside from Poipole and Naganadel, that have been released in Pokémon Go so far. This is perfect for anyone missing an Ultra Beast from their collection or looking to get some more Candy for a specific beast. Especially if you’re missing the regional exclusive Ultra Beasts, as they all appear in the quest below and, unlike in raids, they can’t run away.

Celesteela and the other regional Ultra Beasts can be obtained through this quest.

Incoming Ultra Space Raid Schedule in Pokemon Go

Inbound from Ultra Space is bringing a jam-packed raid schedule to Pokémon Go, so I thought it’d be best to dedicate a special section to it since each day highlights a different Ultra Beast in five-star raids. Before we dive into the schedule, though, there are a few things you should know.

Firstly, there will be a raid hour for the Ultra Beast spotlight every day between 6pm and 7pm (local time) – perfect for battling through a few raids with your friends. Next up, you might just catch a shiny Buzzwole, Pheromosa or Xurkitree for the first time!

Buzzwole and Pheromosa now have shiny forms!

Finally, all Ultra Beasts you catch during these raids will have a special background. These backgrounds will resemble those from previous Go Fest events and will appear on the Pokémon summary page for you to enjoy. It is important to note that the Ultra Beasts you catch from the above Research Mission will not have these backgrounds.

Now that we have that out of the way, let’s take a look at the Inbound from Ultra Space raid schedule:

Xurkitree can now shine too!
  • Monday July 8th – Guzzlord
  • Tuesday July 9th – Nihilego
  • Wednesday July 10th – Celesteela in the Southern Hemisphere and Kartana in the Northern Hemisphere
  • Thursday July 11th – Stakataka in the eastern hemisphere and Blacephalon in the western hemisphere
  • Friday July 12 – Buzzwole in America and Greenland, Pheromosa in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, Xurkitree in Asia-Pacific

Remember – all regional Ultra Beasts are available via the timed research quest above. It may take some time to catch them during these encounters, but unlike raids, Pokémon cannot escape quest encounters. For this reason, we recommend catching regional Ultra Beasts via the timed research quest instead of spending Remote Raid Passes.

Everything We Know About the Inbound from Ultra Space Event in Pokémon Go

Incoming from Ultra Space will be performed until Saturday July 13 at 10:00 am (local time) in Pokémon Go, so it’s ending just in time for Go Fest 2024: Global! This event has two bonuses running both during and just afterward that you should know about.

The first is that all players who are Level 31 or higher are guaranteed to receive Candy XL from trading Pokémon until Sunday, July 14 at 11:59 PM (local time). If you purchased a Go Fest 2024: Global, you can complete six Special Trades per day during the event, so combined with this bonus, this is an excellent chance to get your hands on some rare Candy XL.

The second bonus is all about Remote Raid Passes and is split into two halves. Part one sees the number of Remote Raid Passes you can use per day increase to 20 until Thursday, July 11th. Once Friday, July 12th rolls around, part two will kick in, which will see the Remote Raid Pass limit removed entirely until sometime on Sunday, July 14th. The Remote Raid Pass limit will most likely return when Go Fest Global ends at 6pm (local time). Still, it’s a great time to relive the glory days of no Remote Raid Pass limit at all. I miss those days…

If you’ve already purchased your Go Fest 2024: Global ticket, you can also enjoy an additional set of bonuses. These include a shorter hatching distance for every egg placed in an incubator until Sunday, July 14 at 11:59 PM (local time), the ability to open 40 gifts per day, a special 7km egg pool, and increased shiny chances for the Pokémon hatched from these eggs.

This special 7km long egg pool includes:

These special 7km eggs can hatch into the regionally exclusive Maractus.

Level 1

  • Duckling
  • Emotion
  • Crab hunter
  • Jangmo-o

Level 2

  • Corsola
  • Budew
  • maractus
  • Vullaby
  • Rock edge

Level 5

  • Larvesta
  • Rockruff with the ability to evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc

In addition to these bonuses, there is also a Global Challenge running through Inbound from Ultra Space in preparation for Go Fest 2024: complete 30,000,000 Raid Battles.

Every player in Pokémon Go is participating in a Global Challenge, and if they complete it, everyone can use Beast Balls to catch Ultra Beasts during Go Fest 2024: Global! Additionally, completing the challenge will allow Party Power to recharge faster during Raids until Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. (local time).

It is important to note that this Global Challenge ends on Friday, July 12th at the following times, as the Global Challenges for Go Fest start an hour later:

  • United Kingdom – 21:00 (BST)
  • Europe – 22:00 (CEST)
  • East Coast US – 4:00 p.m. (EDT)
  • West Coast US – 1:00 PM (PDT)

Finally, Inbound from Ultra Space has a couple of pay-to-play offerings. The first of course is a pay-to-play research quest that offers extra candy for all Ultra Beasts except Poipole and Naganadel, and a raid completion XP bonus among other rewards. Purchasing this quest will expires on Sunday, July 14 at 8:00 PM (local time)so you can keep working on it during Go Fest. A ticket costs £4.99, $5 or the equivalent price in your local currency. It is non-refundable and cannot be purchased with PokéCoin, but can be gifted to a player you are Great Friends with or higher.

Secondly, there will be four item bundles with varying prices available on the Pokémon Go webstore during this event. One is focused on raids (for $19.99), another on hatching eggs (for $39.99), and the cheapest one ($4.99) offers storage upgrades for both your Item Bag and Pokémon Storage, along with some Raid Passes and Incubators. If you’re interested, head over to the Pokémon Go webstore where the bundles are fully listed with their regional prices.

I hope you enjoy the Inbound from Ultra Space event and prepare for Go Fest 2024: Global!
