Apple CEO Tim Cook uses the Apple Vision Pro every day, according to an interview he did with The sun to highlight the headset’s launch in the UK. Cook said he had used the Vision Pro “in every aspect of [his] daily life.”

Cook said he used the headset to watch season 3 of Ted Lasso and that he also watches other Apple TV+ content through the headset.

And so for me it’s an incredible experience to get into the position that I want – including laying flat and mounting the screen to the ceiling. And of course it’s a 100ft screen. I mean it’s amazing how much entertainment it provides.

Cook went on to say that multitasking is “much more efficient” on Vision Pro because of its support for multiple windows that can be placed in the wearer’s physical location.

The Vision Pro experience is hard to explain, Cook said, recommending that potential customers get a demo. “It’s hard to explain in words,” Cook said. “It’s hard to show it in 2D, which is going to be a 3D experience.” At the same time, Cook believes the headset will be easy to use, with gestures that work “the way your mind works.” If you can use an iPhone, you can use Vision Pro “really easily,” Cook said.

According to Cook, some who go through the demo experience find it emotional, particularly when it comes to viewing spatial photos and videos that allow users to relive memories. “It’s interesting to see people, the reactions they have,” he said. “You know a lot of them have tears in their eyes.”

To design the ‌Apple Vision Pro‌, Apple had to file more than 5,000 patents, Cook explained, before praising the Vision Pro team. “I’m so proud of the team’s totality and their tenacity, because this was several years in the making.”
