On Thursday evening, emergency crews in Lyndonville, Vermont, found the body of a driver who had been swept away on a flooded road.

Bystanders tried to arrest the man, but police suspect he thought people were just being friendly to him.

The body of another man was found early Thursday morning. Officials say he was riding in a utility task vehicle when he was swept away after a culvert burst in Peacham, Vermont.
